Where Do My Children Go?

Bible Classes

Our Bible classes are provided so our children can methodically explore Bible stories and how to apply what they’ve learned to daily life. Classes are grouped by grades for age-appropriate learning. All classes meet from 9:00 a.m. until 9:45 a.m.

Kids Connection

Kids Connection is for children two-years-old through second grade.  It is a time of age-appropriate worship including singing, prayer and a short devotional.  Children are ushered to Kids Connection by parents when they are dismissed by the Worship Leader. We at Central are blessed with many children from babies to pre-teens. We recognize we have the awesome responsibility to help parents equip each child to live a life patterned after Jesus. Scripture gives us a glimpse of how young Jesus developed.  Luke writes, “Jesus grew in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and men.”  So, we want our children to mature intellectually, physically, spiritually and socially – just like Jesus. And we want them to do so in a safe and loving environment that nurtures spiritual growth. We believe our Children’s Ministry encourages children to grow in their understanding of Jesus in a loving, fun atmosphere where children love to come and where they discover the joy of knowing Jesus.

Cradle Roll Department

The Cradle Roll Department is designed for infants to 2-year-olds. Adult volunteers are present during Bible Class hours to ensure a safe and loving environment for infants and toddlers. When toddlers turn 2 years old, they move into the Pre-School Department.

Pre-School Department

The Pre-School class is for 2-year-olds through 5-year-olds. They are taught Bible lessons and age-appropriate Bible verses each week. Learning centers, crafts, and activities reinforce the lesson and help to keep active preschoolers engaged. At this young age, the foundation is laid for a lifetime of learning about Jesus.

Primary Department

Primary programs at Central include Kindergarten through 5th grade. Curriculum material for the primary ages focuses on knowledge, interactive learning, and fellowship to meet the growing needs of school-aged children.

Nursery

A nursery for infants to early 2-year-olds is provided during worship time. Adult volunteers are present during these times to ensure a safe and loving environment for infants and toddlers.
